Large technology company with $25 billion in cash, a dominant position in digital music, a
commanding lead in smart phones, and a defensible computer business seeks CEO to replace
creative genius.  

Lots of experience necessary.   Eclectic education desirable.  

Must have:

  • Been there at the dawn of the technology era,

  • A clear vision of the forest as well as more than a passing notion of trees,
     
  • A will potent enough to dominate a herd of highly intelligent felines,  

  • A maestro's perfect pitch for consumer tastes,

  • An unerring ability to separate wheat from chaff,

  • Oratorical skills of a veteran impresario, and

  • A surrounding electronic field impervious to the slings and arrows of outrageous reality.  

Good connections in Hollywood a plus.   Only major deities need apply.  

Corner office comes with size 15 shoes.  Tremendous upside for the right candidate.  Some
travel.
